This may seem like a no-brainer, but we run into so many marketers who aren’t aware of how their XPRT company profile is performing because the leads are going to the wrong email address.
Once you’re signed in, head over to your company’s staff & administrators page and look for your email address on the list. Click the edit icon next to your name and email, or the name and email of the person who should be receiving leads, then make sure the role is administrator and all four boxes under “Notifications” are checked: Monthly Traffic Reports, Weekly Lead Summaries, RFI / RFQ Alerts (sent in real-time), and Lead Interaction Alerts (also sent in real-time).
Same as on your own website or your company profile on social media platforms like LinkedIn, Twitter or Facebook, you want potential customers to land on an attractive page so they know they’ve found an active profile and can expect a reply if they get in touch.
The two basic images to upload are your company logo and a background image. You can add or update both by editing your basic profile. We recommend you upload your logo at 400×200 pixels and your background image at 1440×330 for best results.
One of your free profile’s coolest features is that you can add as much content as you want. This puts your business on more search result pages and increases the chances buyers will find you. The obvious place to start is by adding whatever it is you sell (equipment if you’re a manufacturer, software if you’re a software developer, events if you’re an event organizer…)
You can quickly add your products & services on your content overview page. Simply click the green Add Content button at the top right of the screen and choose the content type you wish to add.
It literally takes less than a minute to add content with basic details, but we recommend you click on the content title once it’s published to add the following:
Many of our buyers filter search results by location before they contact suppliers. So it’s extremely important to add as many of your office locations, distributors & locations served as you can.
Simply head back to your basic company profile edit page, scroll down to the sections labelled “Office locations,” “Locations served” & “Related companies,” and click on the appropriate locations or “Add” buttons.
Note that buyers can search our marketplaces by physical location (HQ, office locations or distributors) or by location served. Location served simply means you may not have a physical presence but you can deliver to that location. In other words, locations served should show all the geographical markets you wish to target.
